Folks helped each other, the everyday pace was slower and gentler, things worth doing were worth doing well. At day´s end, helping a neighbor, working the horses, or enjoying a hearty meal with family brought a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. At l W. Main St, right on the square in the bustling, historic town of Strasburg PA, that era still exists. Step up on the well worn marble stoop and enter this wonderful, nostalgic world of memories while enjoying a creamy, old-fashioned ice cream cone. Take in the smell of homemade waffle cones and step outside to watch as Amish buggies roll down the street. The Strasburg Country Store & Creamery and the Strasburg Village Inn Bed & Breakfast bid you welcome, because now you´re home. Our deli menu is written daily on a large slate board and includes everything from salads to soups, deli sandwiches,"Strasburgers", and other grill items, all of which are served with locally homemade potato chips. Our signature item is our freshly made, mouth-watering Pennsylvania Dutch chicken corn soup. In addition to our many tables and booths, additional outdoor table seating is seasonally available at the back of the creamery. Our sidewalk benches are a great place to take in the unique sights of Amish Country while enjoying a tasty treat.
